Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
Haystack, a leader in workshop-style craft education, was built in 1960 on the coast of Maine in Deer Isle. It is known for its unique, award-winning architecture, its stunning views of the atlantic ocean, and the quality of its workshops.
One and two week workshops are held throughout the summer, as well as many outreach programs to local youth and Maine residents. Studios include clay, glass, metals, paper, blacksmithing, weaving, woodworking and more.1
