 The EnergyXchange

   The EnergyXchange is located in Burnsville North Carolina.  The residency program is a year long, but can go up to three years if the resident wishes.This program is set up to help artists make the transition into a full time studio artists. There are business class so the residents can learn how to market their work, and with this the resident also has an office space.   Housing in not provided for, so the residents need to find there own lodging.  There is a rental fee for studio space which is $230.    The kilns are all run on landfill gases there is electric kilns, gas kilns and a wood kiln which is designed to burn whole pallets. Burnsville is located close to Penland School of Crafts.
