 Canton Clay Works

    Canton Clay Works is located in Canton, Connecticut.  It offers only one resident artist position at a time. The residency is only open for a person who has a MFA or equivalent.   The resident is required to work  fifteen hours in the studio for Canton Clay Works. But in return the resident is paid for teaching classes, has a studio space and there is no fee for materials and firing.  Though, housing in not provided and left up to the resident to find. There are opportunities to participate in craft shows that Canton Clay Works host to earn extra money and the possibility of having a show and showing at the gallery. The kilns offered are a wood/salt kiln, electric kiln and a gas kiln.
